WiSE is hosting a "Family Fun Day" and 5th annual "Paddle Battle" on

October 17th, 11 AM - 3 PM, at the Wilmington Island Marina

- formerly Hogan's Marina -which is a 20-minute drive from downtown

Savannah, Georgia.  The event features the following: 

 

• Two "Paddle Battle" Kayak and Paddleboard Races (5K and 10K)

• A 1-mile Kayak and Paddleboard "FUN" race

• Lowcountry Boil, Wiley's BBQ, Wings from Bandana Burger, and Bar

• Oh Crepe! Food Truck with Savory and Sweet Crepes

• The Cone Ranger Ice Cream Truck

• Live Music with the Crabettes and SOAP

• Raffle - including a Floating Dock from Islands Ace Hardware 

• Free Family Boat Rides with Daufuskie Life

• Bouncy House & Activities for Kids

• Award Ceremony

$15 | Non-Racers | Kids under 12 are free!

$25 | 1-Mile “FUN” Race - Includes lunch, drinks, raffle ticket, and a free event T-shirt.

$50 | 5K & 10K Races - Includes lunch, open bar, 5 raffle tickets, and a free event T-shirt.

*Non-racer Tickets include free family boat rides, snacks, beverages, and one adult drink ticket.

**Lunch for Non-Racers:  Savory and sweet crepes will be available from the Oh Crepe! Food Truck.  Lowcountry Boil, Wiley's BBQ, and Bandana Burger Wings are also available for $10/ticket. 

 

 

All proceeds go towards Fish Gotta Swim©, our eco-education program for at-risk youth in Savannah.
