Wild Island Exploration

4-HOUR ADVENTURE:  Explore uncut tidal rivers and creeks, sighting dolphins, sea turtles, osprey, herons, and perhaps a bald eagle!    

 

Step ashore onto the wide, empty beach of Wassaw Island National Wildlife Refuge.  Accessible only by boat, you’ll enjoy beachcombing with your WiSE guide to explain the beautiful (as well as the stranger) items that have washed ashore.  You’ll also enjoy bird watching, photography, and exploring the magnificent maritime forest and sheltering sand dunes!
